A Lovely Time
We had a lovely time at this home on Korcula. The sea view is stunning and the sound of the lapping waves mesmerizing. When we weren’t looking meditatively seaward, doing yoga, or reading on one of the ample verandas, this location allowed us to drive easily to Old Korcula Town and explore the island. Adam provided helpful recommendations and responded promptly to questions. Our local host, Tereza, was very helpful and responsive.

Beach and private pontoon, ideal to land in the sun and just take a step to dive in the water, We had the chance to meet Tereza and her daughter, owners, both charming and very welcoming. We will come back with pleasure and recommend with eyes closed, disconnection assured.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful home!
Alexandre F. (Published Jul 28, 2019) Five stars
What a beautiful and relaxing place! We traveled with the family (6 adults and 1 baby). The house was big and comfortable enough for all of us. The location is absolutely stunning with the balcony facing the water and the sunset. The house is very well equipped and very clean. It is secluded enough but a short ride away from Korcula town and supermarkets. We keep very fond memories.

Second Fantastic Stay (5/5 Stayed Oct 2016)
Shannon H. -- This is our second stay at Adriatic Home and it is a magical place. The home itself is beautiful, creative, bright, and set at a picture-perfect location looking over the sea. We were there with our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) and another couple. The decks are stunning, and we spent most of our time there. The space is large, and there was enough room for all of us with the lovely separate living space below the main house, for early morning/late evening reading, writing, game-playing, and guitar playing. Korcula-opoly, a handmade game at the house based on the island, was a real favorite for our family. We snorkelled in the crystal clear water and found star fish, sea cucumbers, colorful coral, and many fish in the healthy ecosystem off the dock. The house is clean and convenient to old Korcula Town. I highly recommend Adriatic Home. We hope to return.

We highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a quiet, private place with an incredible view.

My husband and I decided to spend our honeymoon in Croatia. Our honeymoon stay at the Adriatic House was perfect! We could not have asked for a better way to kick off our adventure. The home is located on the small island called Korcula, off the coast of Croatia. The island is incredibly charming and has a beautiful Old Town area full of restaurants and shops. We traveled during the last week of August which seemed to be perfect for weather and sightseeing; warm in the afternoon and cool and breezy in the evenings. The island locals and tourists were laid back, friendly and the area was not overcrowded. Every day we ate breakfast and relaxed on the balcony and soaked up the incredible view of the Adriatic from the home. We loved walking down to the private pier and swimming in the crystal blue water - we had the area all to ourselves! Great for snorkeling! We rented a car which made it easy to get around the island and back to the mainland. We were able to drive to the grocery store which was about 5 minutes away, and found parking close to Old Town where we ate at a new restaurant every day! The property manager welcomed us upon arrival and was very available to accommodate our needs. Luckily we didn’t need much because the house came with everything we needed. We highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a quiet, private place with an incredible view.

Beautiful Home, Beautiful Location!
5/5 Stayed Sep 2016

The house was clean and lovely, with beautiful views of the Adriatic from all three bedrooms. The thoughtfully terraced outdoor and indoor spaces provide private options for quiet sunny reading overlooking the ocean, or for peaceful breakfasts in the shaded gazebo near the water. Wifi, a clean open kitchen and an outside shower head for rinsing off after swimming, were welcomed amenities.
Our local host was very accommodating. She sent her daughter to great us upon our arrival, then came to check in with us after she arrived home from work later in the evening. She speaks English well and offered suggestions for restaurants and activities in Korcula city.
Although late September is near the end of tourist season and a quieter time to be in Korcula, shops and restaurants in the city were still open and the crystal clear water was still warm enough for swimming. We even swam to the small offshore island and found a charming, newly placed Geocache.
A car would be recommended, as it is a few kilometers to the old city and market. A perfect place to stay on our visit to Korcula!

A beautiful, well-designed house that takes full advantage of its choice location on the water. Views of the Adriatic and the Pelješac peninsula beckon from all of the bedrooms, the patios on the main floor and lower loggia, and the gazebo closer to the water. The gorgeous medieval city of Korcula, with its (former) cathedral, its walls and towers, and its clever fish-skeleton layout, is a close drive or bicycle ride away, as are elevated inland villages, such as Žrnovo. We hiked some of the island's many rocky trails, enjoyed some restaurants and bakeries (in March, the off-season, most businesses were closed), and read books from the owner's extensive library of novels and histories. Clean, with new wiring and wifi, the house is perfect for a stay on this remarkable island. I don't know why Marco Polo ever left Korcula; we certainly didn't want to!

This is a very nice house in a magical place. It is right on the water with private access for swimming and snorkelling. The water is warm and crystal clear. Even in July it was very quiet. The views from the terrace are beautiful, especially at sunset. The house itself is clean and well equipped and the air conditioning is efficient. Communication before and during our stay was clear and responsive. The local host, Tereza, is very nice and speaks good English. It is a short drive to Korcula town and the local supermarket. We arrived at night without precise GPS directions. Tereza was great at giving directions but it is a good idea to have the precise location on your phone or sat nav in advance. Overall we were delighted with every aspect of our stay.

Lovely Korcula Villa
TripAdvisor Five Stars, Reviewed 29 Sep 2019
From the terraces to the gardens to the waterfront gazebo, it was easy to discern that this house was built with care and with a passion for the site. We felt privileged to share its ambiance for 5 days spent on Korcula with old friends. In fact, we spent most of our time on the island in the house: eating together, swimming, observing vessel traffic on the Strait, watching sunsets and moonrises. While only a short drive from Korcula Old Town, this house is very private and offers a luxurious escape from the tourist hustle and bustle. The 3 bedrooms, 2-1/2 bathrooms, newly renovated kitchen, and multiple terraces and dining areas are well appointed and comfortable. Access to the blue Adriatic water through the dense gardens is spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this rental.

Unbelievable views, private, relaxing right on the crystal clear blue Adriatic

We loved staying at this villa by the sea. Unbelievable views across the crystal clear Adriatic back to the mainland. The kids swam to the little island 200m offshore almost everyday. It’s like having the worlds biggest pool on your doorstep - no sharks, snakes...anything really. You can't get more private than this. The house has a lovely veranda and a little loggia down by the water including outdoor shower etc. The house itself was big enough for our family of 6 and all rooms had airconditioning which was great. Very clean good bedding/sheets. It's about 10m drive back to old Korcula town and shopping centre (good for parking as you walk into the old town). If you like sailing or windsurfing korcula is the place to be.

This 3 bedroom home and two baths was perfect for my family of 6. This home offers water views from every bedroom. My only regret was not being able to stay longer than 3 nights. Mornings on the water were the absolute best. It was the time when the water was the calmest so swimming/snorkeling was easy. We had a few issues with washer, which we were counting on, and getting the refridgerator cold some of which were remedy with a quick phone call. It was the only thing from giving 5 stars. Host and care taker of the home are easily reachable. I would stay here again.
Response from the owner We're glad you had a fabulous time. We've asked a repair person to look at the washing machine to make sure it is running well. We'd be glad to welcome you back in the future -- you are right, three nights is too short!

Fantastic house on a fantastic island!
5/5 Stayed Aug 2013, Camilla S.
We loved the house and the location...the view is breathtaking so every minute is pleasurable. Being able to swim in the sea from the bottom of the garden was amazing - a daily swim to the islet and back was great for my triahtlon training, and the coast road is one of the most picturesque places to run. Our three year old soon got the hang of surf shoes, rubber ring and steps and our 10 year old similarly loved being able to swim - and also to fish - without having to travel and it all meant we could be back up on the veranda for lunch and siesta. Plus there is the added bonus of being able to watch the windsurfers, kite surfers and yachts in the afternoon and early evening... we were so inspired we learnt to windsurf at the sailing school in Korcula. The house is a real home away from home, so we could relax with the kids (no delicate ornaments to be broken and lots of games to be played), and as adults with a great jazz selection of CDs. Korcula Town is beautiful - we had some lovely meals, dark chocolate ice cream and Croatian cakes...and there was always something going on in the harbour to watch. We ventured further afield to try local macaroni, to the sandy beaches at Lumbarda (by bike) and Mljet National Park on a sailing boat. A perfect holiday and we will definitely be coming back. Thanks so much.
